Traditional Rocking Horses Have Been Replaced With A Monster, Shark, And Octopus

Growing up, most of us rode on wooden rocking horses or other friendly farm animal-inspired rockers. Designer Constantin Bolimond, however, has created a line of wooden rocking monsters in an attempt to help children overcome their fears by making them a fun toy they can ride.

The monster on each rocker is made from light wood that’s been painted on one side to keep the natural look of the wood but inject a bit of color into the overall design.

Available as a ferocious shark, a nasty gremlin, and a savage octopus, the line of rockers rejects the traditional cutesy designs often created for kids, and instead turns scary monsters into simple, natural toys with touches of color and soft curves that make them both fun and safe.

When our seat is fixed standing, the height from the floor to the front is about 50 cm. When measured from the side of its depth slope, it is approximately 35 cm. Since the seat has a swing function, the dimensions will vary when swinging.
